I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed weekend! Just a few reminders as we begin a new week. First, fundraiser orders and money are due tomorrow.
Also, the month of August ends this week and our character trait of respect will be changing to knowledge for September. We'll have an assembly on Friday to kick off our new character trait!
Next, I will collect the reading logs for August on Wednesday and give your child a new one for September.
If you find any work in your child's binder that is unfinished (in the folder marked "unfinished work") or without a grade on it, please see that he/she completes it and returns it to school. While I know some assignments take longer than others, we want to encourage responsibility by turning all assignments in. Thanks for your help on this!
We have P.E on Wednesday of this week so that is the day to wear/bring tennis shoes!

This is my nineteenth year here at SGE and my fifth year teaching third grade. I spent my first 14 years in fourth grade. I really enjoy teaching and living in this community!
